About Me
I am a New York state licensed clinical psychologist. I completed my doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Cognitive Therapy Clinic at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from UCLA, where I conducted research on the delivery of mental health interventions to high risk and underserved urban community populations. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from Stanford University.
I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan and have significant experience treating child, adolescent, transitional age youth/young adult, adult, and older adult populations. Prior to starting my own practice, I was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Child and Family Institute at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where I provided community psychotherapy while supervising and teaching trainees. I have completed psychoanalytic fellowships at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I am a certified CBT therapist and diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies. I have also worked as a therapist at a large urban public high school and a college student mental health center. |
